About the role:

Mackay Regional Council is now seeking a motivated Billing Services Officer to join the Billing Services Team on a Permanent Part-Time basis for 21 hours per week. 

Reporting to the Team Leader Billing Support, you will be part of a team who are responsible for Health and Regulatory Administration.

The successful applicant will have:

  • A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a similar administrative support role is essential.
  • Knowledge or ability to quickly acquire knowledge of the statutory and working requirements of council’s Property, Rating, Accounts Receivable and Health & Regulatory systems, and processes
  • Good clerical and computer skills including proficiency with data entry
  • Effective communication skills including conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to provide administrative support requiring the exercise of sound judgement, initiative, confidentiality, and sensitivity
  • Responsible and accountable for managing time, planning and organising workload to meet set KPIs
  • Well-developed computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
