About the Role

Based at Jandowae, you will undertake maintenance, construction and quarry production duties through the skilled operational of Councils plant fleet. A majority of your work will therefore also be based at the Jimbour Quarry.

Reporting to the Works Supervisor, you will:

• provide a high standard of operating skills on various plant including loader, fixed plant crusher, HR, grader and excavator;
• be aware and adhere to safe work practices; and
• complete allocated tasks within agreed time frames.

About you

The successful applicant will:

• have an understanding and be able to demonstrate experience in various aspects of Civil Construction and maintenance works;
• be physically fit and enjoy manual labour; and
• possess good time management skills and the ability to work well within a team.
