Learning & Design Specialist



The Learning and Design specialist will design, develop and deliver best practice blended learning solutions that optimise Organisational Capability’s 70/20/10 objective.

In collaboration with key stakeholders and subject matter experts, this position will project manage the development of a full range of learning solutions that focus on building capability at all levels.
The opportunity will be offered on a Temporary Full time basis up to July 2021 (with a possibility of extension)

Some of your duties will include:

  • Design and develop industry best practice adult learning solutions
  • Manage Learning and Development projects as required.
  • Partner with Managers and the Organisational Capability team to provide a range of blended workforce development programs in support of our strategic goals and objectives.
  • Provide consultation and advice in all aspects of learning design, instructional design and effective delivery methods of workplace and professional development programs to the organisation.
  • Evaluate training and assessment services to ensure compliance, best practice training and learning principles, training polices and procedure, organisational and industry standards and relevant legislation and regulations
  • Build and maintain effective relationship with internal stakeholders, external providers and training session attendees
  • Collaborate on L&D and capability topics with the wider People and Performance business partner group.

You will have:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Instructional Design, Cert IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience in instructional design, learning content development and training delivery.
  • Demonstrated experience in transforming complex information into easy to comprehend blended learning programs.
  • Experience developing and using eLearning software.
  • Extensive experience in facilitating adult learning solutions

The salary range for this opportunity commences at $90,132 (Grade H, Step1) + 9.5% super
