ABOUT THE POSITION

An exciting opportunity is now available to join the team at the Onslow Aquatic Centre as our Pool Duty Manager. This position will assist the Pool Manager and Coordinator to appropriately manage daily pool operations at the Onslow Aquatic Facility including water chemistry requirements in line with health regulations, ensuring the plant room is running accurately and providing a safe, attractive and healthy aquatic environment and programs which meet the needs of the community and enhance community health and fitness, family and community cohesion.

During the Pool season, which runs from the end of September until the start of May, additional hours will be required, however Time off in Lieu may be accrued for use during the ‘off season’. As this role is to commence part way through the pool season, some unpaid leave may be required over the ‘off season’.

Our ideal candidate will have all of the mandatory qualifications along with experience in a similar role. You will be a fit and active person who is looking to be part of a small and vibrant community in Onslow.

This position is a maternity leave coverage arrangement, commencing immediately on a fixed term arrangement until approx. April 2022.

This position offers a competitive remuneration package and six (6) weeks' annual leave. All terms and conditions are as per the Shire of Ashburton Enterprise Agreement 2017.
