Department: Infrastructure and Utilities

Central Highlands Regional Council is currently looking for a highly experienced Construction Supervisor to join the Infrastructure team. This role involves the physical delivery and day to day management of capital works on council’s rural and urban road, drainage, footpath and cycle way networks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead the construction team to ensure effective delivery of construction projects
  • Monitor and control project budgets
  • Establish, build, and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external parties
  • Contribute to a positive, safe, and effective working environment and culture

To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to possess:

  • Demonstrated experience in civil construction and knowledge of civil construction process and methodologies
  • Extensive understanding of quality control practices and testing
  • Knowledge of construction compliance specifications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Cert III Civil Construction
