Childcare Worker Diploma

2 x Permanent Full Time, 1 x Temporary Full Time (12 month contract), 38 hours, 5 days per week

Liverpool is fast becoming Liverpool’s third CBD as the Gateway City to Western Sydney Airport and is going through rapid change and growth. Nearly 100 new residents are arriving every week.

We are looking for a dedicated and innovative Early Childhood Services Educator - Diploma to assist in the effective daily operation of the service, and support educators in the planning, programming, implementing and evaluating high quality programmes for children at all of our Early Education and Care centres.

 

The successful applicant will have:  

  • A Diploma Children's Services (Early Childhood Education and Care) as per ACECQA approved qualifications
  • Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications
  • Experience developing and implementing curriculums that are interest-based, reflective of diversity and contribute to positive behaviour management and guidance techniques and strategies for children
  • Knowledge of the Children (Education and Care Services) Act 2010, the Education and Care Services National Regulations 2011, the Children and Young Persons (Care and Protection) Act 1998, and child protection legislation and its implication for the care and protection for young children.
  • Effective interpersonal and communications skills together with conflict resolution and problem solving skills.
  • Professional level of written and verbal communication skills.

This position is subject to a working with children check.

Salary will be dependent upon the relevant skills, experience and competencies of the successful applicant.
