About the Role

Fixed term (to April 2022): 19 day month

Salary: Range from $68,494 to $78,769 pa + 9.5% super

The primary purpose of the role is to provide a high level of support to facilitate the delivery of recovery programs to the Richmond Valley Council area.

We are seeking someone who has:

  • Tertiary qualifications in office administration or equivalent experience
  • Experience with community groups and stakeholder engagement
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritise and achieve deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • High level computer literacy and experience, including advanced Word, Powerpoint and Excel, and the ability to learn new skills quickly
  • Current Class C Driver Licence
  • Preparedness to work reasonable overtime, with little or no notice, to meet demands of the position
  • Demonstrated conduct aligned with Council’s corporate behaviours supporting our values
