Maternal and Child Health Coordinator

As Maternal and Child Health Coordinator at the City of Port Phillip, you will be vital to ensuring the success of the department in providing service excellence whilst ensuring the service delivery meets the needs of the community and offers best value for Council.
This role will see you assume responsibility for the leadership and day to day management of Maternal and Child Health.
Key responsibilities include:
Lead, motivate and develop the team, providing direction, guidance and support
Coordinating the workload of the MCH nurses ensuring service levels are maintained
Ensure the service operates within the relevant Clinical Governance Frameworks
Strategically manage and facilitate the delivery of a client focused, integrated and responsive MCH service
Strategic service planning and development
A strong leader and relationship builder you will have a proven track record of developing and maintaining productive partnerships and collaborations with both internal and external stakeholders.
To be successful in this role you will possess a nursing qualification and registration for General Nursing, Midwifery and Maternal & Child Health Nursing, coupled with strong knowledge and experience in developing primary health services for families and children. Your passion for the sector and your ability to drive change will see you succeed in an environment where you are supported by a strong leadership team.
