About the role

Mackay Regional Council is seeking a qualified person to fulfill the role of Superintendent/Project Manager within the Major Projects team, part of the Capital Works directorate. 

The Role

This position is responsible to manage the direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects or programs from the pre-design phase through to handover/commission. This position ensures that projects are delivered to agreed criteria, with commercially competitive standards for safety, cost, timeliness, quality, scope and customer satisfaction consistent with company strategy, commitments and goals.

The successful applicant will have extensive experience in performing the role of the Superintendent and/or Project Manager on large scale, multi disciplinary projects and have strong communication and analytical skills in the delivery of council delivered projects.
