With around 1000 visitors coming through the door each day Splash Palace is a busy place! And with the opening of our new Hydroslide just around the corner, we're only set to get busier. We are looking for a responsible, enthusiastic and customer focused individual to join our already fun, vibrant and dynamic team!

At Splash Palace we pride ourselves on creating a fun and safe environment for all of our customers. We are looking for a permanent full-time Senior Lifeguard to join our team. Together our poolside team supervise our pool users to ensure their experience is a safe and enjoyable one, and the Senior Lifeguard works with our Supervisors to play a key part in making this happen.

Your high level of attention to detail is essential so that you never miss a beat. Stepping in to assist the Supervisor when directed, you will have the ability to ensure the safe and efficient running of the aquatic facility. You will also enjoy working in a team environment, be approachable, responsible, reliable and have a positive ‘can do' attitude.

You must be a competent swimmer and be able to maintain high standards of lifesaving techniques. You will have a current First Aid Certificate and National Lifeguard Award (Level 3) or the ability to obtain these within two weeks of commencing work. Previous lifeguarding experience and experience in the supervision of staff or in a similar posotion of responsibility would be an advantage.

If you value water safety, health and fitness and feel you could add significant value to our community facility, then we want to hear from you! Working 40 hours per week, you must be willing to work to a roster which will include split shifts, evenings, weekends and public holidays.

As a component of this role involves interaction with one or more of the above groups, as part of the assessment of candidates, we will require Police Vetting as per the Children's Act 2014 and a Pre-employment Alcohol and Drug Screening test to ensure we are providing a safe environment for our customers and members of the public.
