Early Childhood Teacher

2 x Temporary Full Time - 35 hours, 5 days per week

Liverpool is fast becoming Liverpool’s third CBD as the Gateway City to Western Sydney Airport and is going through rapid change and growth. Nearly 100 new residents are arriving every week.

We are looking for dedicated, vibrant and innovative Early Childhood Teachers to provide leadership in the design, implementation and evaluation of high-quality inquiry based educational curriculums for children attending our centres.

As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will have experience in mentoring and supporting educators in the delivery of educational curriculums and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and policies within the Early Childhood Education and Care environment.

It is essential that you are a degree qualified Early Childhood Teacher and have child protection training approved and recognised by NSW Community Services. A first aid certificate is also essential. In addition, you will have detailed knowledge of child development and of the current theories/approaches to early childhood education and care.

The essential criteria also requires the applicant to possess:

  • Experience and demonstrated knowledge in supporting, leading and motivating an early childhood team
  • Demonstrated ability and experience in reflecting on, monitoring and evaluating own teaching practices
  • Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills

This position is subject to a working with children check and prohibited persons are not eligible to apply.

Salary will be dependent upon the relevant skills, experience and competencies of the successful applicant.
