The Role

Council is seeking a motivated professional to undertake the above position.  We are seeking a candidate to fill our role on a permanent full time basis, but will consider other employment arrangements (based on the candidates preference eg part time/casual).  The ECT will lead a professional team to provide influential pedagogical leadership to provide high quality long day care services and curriculum for the children in the ELC.

What You Will Need

All applicants must possess current approved degree qualifications in Education (Early Childhood) or related field and a current certificate of accreditation with NESA. Demonstrated understanding of development practices for children 0 – 6 years and working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework is also required.

Salary Range

The salary range for this position is $1221.70 - $1368.30 per 35 hour week, plus 25% casual loading, in accordance with Council’s salary system. Other conditions are in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award and Council’s policies and procedures.
