Development Assessment Planner

An exciting opportunity has arisen within Council’s Development Assessment team for an experienced and energetic Development Assessment Planner. If you are looking to expand on your development assessment skills and gain further experience in assessing a variety of interesting and challenging development applications within a fast growing LGA then look no further.

 

The primary function of this position will be the assessment of a range of complex development applications as well as attending pre-development meetings with industry representatives. The positions will suit self-motivated and experienced planners who have excellent communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively within a team environment. This position is for career focused individuals who are willing to accept the challenge of providing a high level of service to the Liverpool community.


The successful applicant will have:

  •  Demonstrated understanding of the planning policy and procedures to ensure an efficient and effective development assessment process and ensuring key timeframes are met; and
  •  Excellent written and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with internal and external clients and stakeholders.

Salary will be dependent upon the relevant skills, experience and competencies of the successful applicant.
