The Town is seeking casual Group Fitness Instructors to join the leisure team.

The Role

This position will be responsible for the provision of a high quality group fitness program to the community, safely and effectively.

Work Related Requirements

The preferred applicant will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol assessment to be considered for the role, as well as possessing:

  • Current First Aid Certificate;
  • National Police Clearance;
  • Current C Class Driver’s License
  • Western Australian Working with Children Check Card;
  • Rights to work in Australia.

Essential Experience

  • Relevant group fitness certification with demonstrated experience in a similar field;
  • Demonstrated ability in the areas of time management, working autonomously and within a team, organisation, initiative, problem solving and conflict management skills;
  • Sound knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health practices;
  • Demonstrated experience in teaching or team teaching group fitness programs and knowledge of safe and effective group fitness techniques
  • Excellent communication skills with a high level of motivation and ability to motivate others.
