Educator Support Officer

About the Role:

Wingecarribee Shire Council has been providing high quality Family Day Care (FDC) to our local community for over 35 years. The Service is currently seeks an exceptional individual with a positive and proactive approach to join our dedicated team as the Education Support Officer (Educational Leader).
Reporting to the Children’s Services Coordinator (Nominated Supervisor), your primary role will be to provide leadership, support and guidance to our FDC Educators. With your sound understanding of the Early Learning Years Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Framework (NQF), you will be responsible for overseeing and supporting our dedicated FDC Educators in meeting regulatory compliance and supporting and guiding them in their practice.


About You:

The successful Candidate will be able to demonstrate:

  • Minimum qualification of a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Early Childhood environment
  • Current Working with Children Check and National Criminal History check (Within the last 6 months)
  • Recognised First Aid Qualifications by the Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA)
  • Recognised Child Protection Qualifications
  • The successful applicant must hold a current NSW Drivers Licence and have their own vehicle. (vehicle allowance will be applied)
