An exciting opportunity exists within the Organisational Development Branch for a Return to Work and Wellbeing Officer. The role is responsible for:

  • Return to Work Coordination for injured workers;
  • Managing Council’s Workers Compensation portfolio including development of proactive measures to reduce the number and frequency of Lost Time Injuries;
  • Council’s Wellbeing Program;
  • Council’s health monitoring program and;
  • Policy and Procedure development in the areas of Return to Work and Wellbeing.


About You

The position is required to build positive relationships with staff and management at all levels ensuring they influence staff to achieve expectations, ensure internal and external communication. The incumbent will initiate and influence internal communications with any level of management, in a consultative manner, to influence and chart the overall achievement of organisational objectives.
