Our Processing team are seeking a highly-skilled, proactive and motivated accounts payable superstar to join our team and help us work toward fully embracing the efficiency gains our new financial system will bring us.
With support from the Manager - Processing, you will be an essential part of the team and have responsibility for leading the key functional and process improvement oversight of Accounts Payable.
You will take ownership of the Accounts Payable function at ICC and you will champion the accounts payable module in our Technology One solution to ensure the functionality, integration and linkages to other processing modules supports accurate and efficient accounts payable activities.
This position is key to maintaining professional supplier relationships for Council's shared service functions across ICC and its associated entities.
You will have extensive experience in accounts payable and be proficient in the Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel). Your sharp eye for detail, and your proven time management skills are essential to ensuring important deadlines are always met.
In addition to the above, you will have initiative, a can-do attitude, ability to work under pressure and seek to provide excellent customer service. You may be someone who is currently working and studying towards a formal qualification in accounting, or you may be someone who is "qualified by experience", with the energy and positive attitude required to be successful in this role.
