About the Opportunity

Georges River Council is currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Environmental Project Officer to join our dynamic Assets and Infrastructure team. The successful candidate will identify, develop and oversee the design and construction of key environmental and open space projects from our Council's Community Strategic Plan and Operational Plan.

  • Permanent full time - 70 hours per fortnight
  • Salary from $84,390 - $97,777 per annum plus 9.5% superannuation

Key Skills

  • Tertiary qualifications in landscape architecture, environmental science, project management, environmental engineering, or related field;
  • Class C Drivers Licence and Construction Induction (White Card).  
  • Extensive experience in environmental and open space project design and management, with comprehensive knowledge of construction techniques and methods for delivering open space and environmental projects. 
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of appropriate Australian Standards, relevant NSW Legislation and NSW State Government Policies, Technical Directions and Guidelines
