We’re looking for someone who will make a significant impact within our Shire by;

  • Developing and delivering community development programs based on community needs and in accordance with the Shire’s Strategic Community Plan.
  • Improving community satisfaction with Shire consultation, by working closely with community stakeholders and supporting community development initiatives and project delivery.
  • Providing professional advice and assistance to Council, Staff and Community groups on all levels of community engagement.
  • Coordinating and managing Shire functions and events.
  • Developing partnerships with external providers to the Shire.
  • Being solution focused and having a ‘can do attitude’.
  • Contributing to a strong team culture.
  • Looking for opportunities to innovate.
  • Championing the Shire’s vision, values and mission statement.
