Council is seeking an experienced leader to drive high-performance in the organisation’s Capacity, Access & Inclusion Branch, working to set policy and strategy resulting in enhanced community outcomes. Reporting to the Director Community Development, the Manager will provide strong leadership to two reports and a broader team of 36 and 145 volunteers, ensuring that the team work together in a strategic way to build community partnerships and positive health and wellbeing outcomes.
The role oversees a portfolio comprising Community Health and Wellbeing, Disability and NDIS advocacy, HACC and community capacity building, with a number of key partnerships in place with local and regional agencies and partner organisations.

Proven capacity to manage large numbers of staff and significant budgets is essential, as is the ability to develop, negotiate and maintain strategic alliances.
