BALC Gymnastics Coach

• Casual position 

• Salary $36.23 per hour, includes casual loading 

This position requires a positive, energetic, vibrant attitude and a willingness to learn and continuously improve.  You will have experience in coaching children’s gymnastics classes; either beginner or advanced levels. You will communicate effectively with children, parents, staff and management.   

You will have exceptional customer service skills and a strong desire to exceed member expectations, with the ability to work autonomously on the gym floor, as well as part of a team to ensure an efficient flow through the gymnastics hall each night. You will be required to take on shift hours which may include some or all of the following; mornings, afternoons, late evenings and/or weekends. 

Key Selection Criteria  

• Demonstrated experience to work as part of a team. 

• Demonstrated experience instructing a class of participants. 

• Good communication and interpersonal skills in particular interactions with children. 

• Knowledge and understanding of health and safety issues relevant to work activities and work area. 

• Current Level two First Aid certificate. 

• Current CPR Certificate. 

• Minimum Current Intermediate GA or Advanced Coaching Qualification if teaching saultos. 

• Current National Police Check. 

• Current Working with Children Check. 

• Knowledge and understanding of health and safety issues relevant to work activities and work area.
