We currently have a unique and exciting vacancy within our Safety and Risk unit for a self-driven, motivated individual who is passionate about wellness.

Reporting to the Team Leader Enterprise Risk, you will be responsible for the development, implementation and continuous improvement of proactive health management programs. As well as the ongoing monitoring and advising on COVIDSafe protocols and supporting leaders in the reinforcement of guidelines.

This is a full time permanent position. The salary range for this opportunity commences at $80,743 (Grade G, Step1) + 9.5% super

Some of your duties in this role will include:

•Delivery, monitoring and reporting on the progress of the Wellbeing Strategy achievement and outcomes.
•Lead the Wellbeing Action Group meetings and activities.
•Deliver an annual calendar of events and update communication and information for team members.
•Monitor the implementation and engagement of wellbeing program initiatives including post implementation reviews.
•Identify improvements to the wellbeing strategy deliverables in accordance with best practise
•Implement and support a wellness champion program to recruit, train and deploy across all areas of Council.
•Coordinate health surveillance and testing programs.
•Oversee and monitor legislative changes including public health orders and their impacts to services and operations.
•Support Leaders developing, implementing and monitoring COVIDSafe planning and Support Plans.
•Support Leaders with in-field supervision of team members complying with COVID guidelines and COVIDSafe plans
•Undertake other duties as requested by the Team Leader Enterprise Risk, Manager Safety and Risk and/or Director People and Performance to support health and wellbeing

The successful applicant will possess:

•HR/WHS/Change Management qualifications and/or equivalent experience
•Driver's licence
•Demonstrated experience in the areas of safety, wellness, change management and/or organisational development
•Demonstrated experience managing people related projects.
•Strong influencing and negotiation skills.
•Good time management and prioritisation skills.
•Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
•Exceptional communication and organisational skills
