He angitūtanga: The opportunity

 

We are currently seeking an experienced TC Level-1 certified person to join our busy team working within the Auckland City Council roadway network.
 

As a TC level-1 qualified, you would need to be proficient in the delivery of traffic management, enjoy physical activity and be energetic and self-motivated. This is a fast paced and important role within our traffic management team requiring an experienced, observant, and responsible person. 

 

 

He kōrero mōu: About you
 
You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Being a good team player will get you going with this role. You will also possess:


•    Current TC level1 certificate or proven work experience in the traffic control industry.
•    At least 6 months practical experience in the industry.
•    Construct safe certificate.
•    A good understanding of CoPTTM. 
•    Great attitude to health and safety.
•    Physically Fit.
•    Ability to read the TMP plans.
•    Assisting is site installations and deinstallations i.e., layout of cones and signage.
•    Strong planning and problem-solving skills with the ability to deal with unexpected events.
•    Good verbal skills to communicate on the radio and good people management skills.
