The Canterbury Bankstown Leisure & Aquatic Services Unit has recently undergone a realignment and we are looking for an innovative and creative professional to join our team.

The salary range for this opportunity commences at $80,743 (Grade G, Step1) + 9.5% super.

The Role:

The Membership & Engagement Officer is integral to the service that Canterbury-Bankstown Leisure & Aquatic Services provides to the Community and is responsible for marketing and promoting the service as well as engaging with CB Leisure and Aquatics members, customer base and prospective clients through the use of technology such as web and social media.

You will be specifically required to work closely with the Coordinator - Leisure & Wellness Programs and the broader Leadership Team to engage with the community in a way that is exciting, relevant and with a point of difference. You’ll need to be in touch with industry trends and make the community aware of the services CB Leisure & Aquatics has on offer resulting in the increase in revenue streams and visitation, as well as membership retention.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

Qualifications:

•Tertiary Qualifications in Fitness and the provision of fitness programs or equivalent (e.g. Degree, TAFE Certificate IV in Fitness)
•Senior First Aid Certificate
•Current CPR Certificate
•Current Class C Drivers Licence
•Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)

Experience:

•Demonstrated experience in marketing and promotions of services and relevant to the Leisure & Aquatic Industry
•Demonstrated experience in the use and application of Social Media Platforms and Websites
•Demonstrated planning and organisational skills, with high levels of innovation, initiative and self-motivation.
•Demonstrated ability to attract new clients and contribute to the generation of new revenue streams.
•Ability to work effectively, collaboratively and constructively in a team environment
