About the Role

As an Events Officer you will provide high quality administration and organisational support across the Events section to assist in the implementation and delivery of a wide range of community events including the annual Granny Smith Festival, Australia Day Celebrations, Park Series Events as well as the regular coordination of citizenship ceremonies. This is an interesting and varied role in a fast paced and supportive team environment.

Key requirements

  • A recognised tertiary qualification in events/public relations and/or marketing, or have significant relevant work experience
  • Proven administrative skills together with sound level of PC literacy using Word, Excel and related MS applications
  • Well-developed written communications skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to converse confidently with a wide range of stakeholders including community groups, business associations, vendors and suppliers within the industry
  • Current driver's licence preferred

Your commencing salary will be in the range $60,781.68 - $79,016.18 p.a. plus superannuation with the actual level dependent on your experience and qualifications.
