About the role

This key aspect of this role is to provide quality employee relations support to assist Council to meet its People and Culture objectives.

 

To be successful in this position, you will possess;

  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources (Diploma or University Qualification) or related field
  • Demonstrated experience in employee relations, industrial relations, and performance management
  • Current “C” Class Queensland Driver’s Licence
  • Well-developed workplace coaching, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Sound organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Sound negotiation and consultation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise confidentiality, tact and discretion
  • Sound ability to interpret legislation, awards and industrial agreements for staff and management

 

Candidates who possess previous experience working in a business partner capacity; with a focus on blue collar workforce, are encouraged to apply.
