Arborist (Operations Specialist -Tree Maintenance)


 

Renowned for our leafy suburbs, Georges River Council has revamped our service delivery model and need an experienced individual, preferably qualified (to AQF3) to work within a small crew in both tree maintenance programs and responses to resident requests.

Your experience will include: tree removal, stump grinding and pruning to Australian standards. You may also have experience in Elevated Platform Work or climbing however. It is essential that you hold a minimum MR licence.

To be considered for this role you will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience in addition to your qualifications and licences:

  • Focus on working safely at all times
  • Experience working in a small  tree maintenance team
  • Ability to be accountable for agreed work methods, standard and outcomes
  • Proven capacity to work to daily work schedules
  • Experience in the operation and maintenance of arboriculture related plant and equipment
