Solution Designer (Solutions Engineer)

Things You’ll Do:

  • Be hands on and engineer, implement, support and provide assistance to customers and partners.
  • You will be involved in providing project delivery capability and technical solution, including design, migration and integration of cloud and on- premises technology.
  • Provide expert technical expertise to Application Development, Enterprise Security and Engineering, Infrastructure Architecture and other Hybrid Cloud Services teams on cloud adoption, cloud and on-premise design and best practices.
  • Assist in the development of project infrastructure such as tools deployment, metrics collection and process development.
  • The successful candidate will have
    • Good understanding of the Software Development lifecycle.
    • A good understanding of Agile methodology
    • Experience in developing designs, participation in design reviews, undertaking typical design analyses and implementation of solutions, it integration, validation and qualification testing.
    • Experience in the use of Configuration and Change Management principles and tools.
    • Demonstrated expertise in API security, API management and API policies.
    • Excellent understanding of Project Management principles including SDLC, Change and release management processes.

  • Hours of work: Permanent Full-Time, working 35 hours per week, 19 day month flexitime available.
  • Salary Range: $92,000- $105,000 gross per annum plus superannuation.
  • To be considered for this position you will have experience in the following:
    • Tertiary level qualifications in Computer Science or relevant industry recognised certification.
    • Excellent proficiency in identifying, developing and deploying code to fix Applications, recommend changes, perform root cause analysis.
    • Assist to identify Applications Design and Development Services Technology related Risks and issues.
    • Excellent Knowledge with Microsoft environment and preferable PowerShell Scripting.
    • Basic Knowledge in Programming and Coding – Preferable Python.
