Are you an experienced Work, Health and Safety professional looking for your next exciting career move? We are currently seeking a self-driven, motivated individual who is passionate about Safety to join our dynamic team.

Reporting to the Team Leader Safety, you will be responsible for supporting business units to achieve their lead indicators and continually improve the organisation’s safety management system in accordance with the requirements of WHS legislation and associated standards.

This is a full time permanent position. The salary range for this opportunity commences at $80,743 (Grade G, Step1) + 9.5% super

Some of your duties in this role will include:

•Act as a WHS consultant, providing timely and accurate reporting and advice to managers and staff that support business unit functions and reflect industry best practice
•Coordinate the Return To Work functions for the allocated business units.
•Liaise with all level of staff and management to actively educate and promote the Safety Management System.
•Identify opportunities for improvement to Safety Management System documentation and workplace practices.
•Coordinate WHS reports and statistical information
•Ensure achievement of organisational lead and lag indicators.

The successful applicant will possess:

•Qualifications in WHS or equivalent experience
•Experience in implementing Safety Management System processes and procedures
•Class C drivers’ licence
•Knowledge of the WHS legislative framework
•The ability to interpret and apply legislation to meet business requirements
