Team Leader Construction


  • Permanent Full Time with RDO 

  • Salary between $80,808 to $87,293 per annum plus 9.5% superannuation  

  • Existing Team Leader position 

 

We are looking for an experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team.   

 

The position will manage two small construction crews including plant in the delivery of the Cities footpath and kerb and channel Capital Works Program.  The position also manages the Cities minor civil works contracts.  You will require an excellent knowledge and understanding of the accepted standards and practices appropriate to municipal and civil engineering construction issues and be able to provide advice on minor contract civil designs for the City.   

The position reports directly to the Executive Manager Infrastructure and will lead small dynamic teams of construction personnel and plant. 

 

Key Selection Criteria 

  • Qualifications and experience as listed in the Position Description.  

  • Demonstrated ability to set out construction works and interpret construction plans and drawings.   

  • Knowledge and understanding of business practice and planning, including budgeting and scheduling skills.   

  • The ability to provide competent technical advice on a wide variety of civil engineering projects.  

  • Knowledge and understanding of health and safety issues relevant to work activities and work area
