About the role

  • Based in Murgon
  • Maximum Term (up to 12 months) - Maternity Leave
  • $57 – $60K

Council is seeking an experienced and motivated administration officer to provide professional administrative services which support the effective and efficient operation of the Natural Resource Management (NRM) and Parks branch, of the Community Department.  This position will include assisting in the delegation and action of customer requests and complaints, whilst maintaining accurate administrative records, ensuring all data/information is presented and stored in an appropriate manner. The successful applicant will have good computer and communication skills, as well as organisational skills with the ability to establish work priorities, complete assigned tasks within required standards and meet deadlines.

Skills and experience

  • Relevant experience in an administrative role providing a high level of customer service in a busy environment.
     
  • Sound organisational skills with the ability to establish work priorities, complete assigned tasks within required standards and meet deadlines.
     
  • Sound interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
     
  • Sound computer skills including sound knowledge of the MS Office Suite and corporate software systems.
     
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
