Leading Senior Roads & Traffic Officer
Things We’ll Trust You With:
Lead the team in delivering day-to-day operational activities as effectively and efficiently as possible.
Mentor, guide and coach Parking Services Officers to achieve high levels of operational effectiveness and efficiency.
Provide in field supervision and act as Team Leader when required.
Assist staff with interpretation and application of relevant Acts and Regulations.
Support the leadership team in implementing any organisational decisions, goals or strategic direction.
Carry-out foot patrols for parking compliance and regulation on public streets and designated car parks in the local government area.
Investigate illegal activities i.e. abandoned vehicles, motor vehicle littering, boat trailer complaints, motor vehicles ‘for sale’ and other related offences as authorised under the delegations provided for the position.
Assist Council in the effective provision of regulation and enforcement through appropriate application of legislation, Council objectives, policies, adopted standards and work practices.

Package: $71,000 - $75,000 gross p.a. plus superannuation. Weekend penalty rates apply as worked.
Hours of work: Permanent full-time opportunity. 38 hours per week, 7 day spread and 9 day fortnight. Required to work 1 weekend in 4.
Spread of work hours: 6:00 am to 10:00 pm, 7 day spread also includes Public Holidays.
