About the Role

In this Civil Engineering Cadetship, you will gain experience and learning of the processes necessary to be able to confidently complete all civil engineering works in the area of works strategic planning, construction and maintenance.

Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you will:

  • Assist the Project Managers in providing engineering support;
  • Undertake investigation of works and customer requests relating to construction and maintenance operations;
  • Assist in the preparation of estimates, site investigation, designs, project management, compilation of the 10 Year Capital Works Program and systems implementation; and
  • Complete a Bachelor of Engineering Science (Civil).

 

About you

The successful applicant will have:

  • completed a Secondary education to Grade 12 level with an ATAR capable of gaining entry to complete Bachelor of Engineering Science (Civil), OR has already commenced this course at a tertiary institution;
  • an interest in engineering and project management;
  • a 'C' Class Drivers Licence (manual preferred); and
  • strong analytical and technical ability.
