ADMINISTRATION OFFICER - HEALTH, RANGERS & EVENTS

The Position:

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, experienced and qualified candidate to join the Shire of Broome in the role of Administration Officer – Health, Rangers and Events. This position will report to the Manager Environmental Health, Emergency and Rangers.

The Administration Officer – Health and Rangers will be responsible to provide effective administrative and customer service support to the Shire of Broome in the Development and Community Directorate with a specific focus to be on the administration underpinning the regulatory services of Environmental Health, Emergency and Ranger services and the administrative management of events in line with legislative requirements and Council Policy.

The Person We Seek:

The preferred candidate will have excellent communication skills with sound administration, organisational, high attention to detail and advanced computer and keyboard skills.

In addition, you will have an ability to take initiative whilst working autonomously in a busy office environment. 

Previous experience in a similar position or equivalent environment would be also be highly regarded.
