Level MB1 - $25.12 (20 years plus) + 23% loading,
*Junior rates will apply to any successful applicant under the age of 20 years, as per the Queensland Local Government Industry (Stream B) Award – State 2017.

What we are looking for:

Council is currently seeking friendly and motivated applicants who would be interested in joining our Casual Aquatic Centre Attendant pool.

Opportunities exist in all of Council’s aquatic centres, specifically Maryborough Aquatic Centre and Wetside Water Park.

This role is responsible for providing strong customer service and a safe environment for all patrons, as well as contributing to the successful implementation of all programs at the centres.

What you should have to apply:

  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Pool Lifeguard Certificate (or the ability to obtain these)
  • Working with Children Suitability Card (“Blue Card”) or ability to obtain
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Commitment to creating a safe and fun environment for all visitors
