Grant Research and Project Officer



Primary Work Location: Gosford

This role will see you providing the Chief External Funding Coordinator with project support, taking on external grant funding research, and coordinating Council's external grant funding; including compiling grant documentation.

When funding opportunities are identified you will take on the role of distributing these opportunities throughout Council to the relevant stakeholders; providing project support where necessary.

When funding applications are submitted and grants awarded you will compile grant documentation to ensure accurate reporting to the community.

Key activities of this role include:

  • Research utilising various research methodologies, identify and distribute suitable funding opportunities to internal stakeholders;
  • Provide high quality and efficient project support services;
  • Use relevant resources and technology to coordinate reports, correspondence, presentation materials and financial information;

About You:

  • You have exceptional research skills into what funding is out there, and you like to think outside of the box whilst still meeting strict deadlines;
  • You have high level attention to detail needed for data base entry and retrieval, and compiling of accurate grant documentation;
  • You are extremely Community minded and ethical;
  • You enjoy sharing your knowledge and expertise, while also learning from others;
  • Having a work/life balance is important to you.

This role provides a salary range of between $76k to $91k per annum + superannuation.

A 9 day fortnight work-cycle currently applies to this role. This arrangement may be subject to change.
