Are you a Manager with Parks and Recreation expertise looking to make a difference? How would you like to work for a Council who is committed to continuous improvement, a sustainable future, and the efficient investment in our communities?

In this position, you will have the autonomy to oversee the strategic management and forward planning of Central Highland’s parks, sports and recreational facilities, and green spaces including:

  • Developing and managing budgets
  • Reviewing and delivering projects
  • Asset lifecycle management
  • Creating horticultural programs
  • Building effective relationships with local sport and recreational clubs

Whilst your technical expertise is important, it is your ability to lead people that will ensure your success in this position. This is a multi-faceted role that will excite a Manager who thrives on bringing teams together and creating collaborative working environments.

In addition, you will be motivated by further developing the Communities Parks and Recreation department and be able to effectively consult, present and liaise wit internal and external stakeholders.
