IT Security Engineer



Primary Work Location: North Wyong

This is a unique opportunity that will allow you to contribute in shaping an information security function in a collaborative, supportive and highly motivated IM&T team who are passionate about what they do, whilst working to support the wider community.  You will work with the broader security team to shape security and have a big part to play in what the future looks like.

Key activities of this role include:

  • Research, design, and implement information security solutions for CCC’s systems and products that comply with all applicable security policies and standards;
  • Analyse and make recommendations to improve network, system, and application architectures;
  • Examines network, server, and application logs to determine trends and identify security incidents;
  • Collaborate on critical IT projects to ensure that security issues are addressed throughout the project life cycle.

About You:

  • You have extensive technical experience in network security, and have experience in developing solutions and life cycle processes;
  • You stay up to date with the latest security trends and threats relevant to the market;
  • You are passionate, self-driven and excited about making a difference;
  • You have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels;
  • Having a work/life balance is important to you.

Salary: An attractive remuneration package up to $140k per annum + Super + excellent employee benefits is on offer to the right candidate.
