PROGRAM LEADER, EMPLOYEE RELATIONS

The Program Leader Employee Relations is accountable for providing leadership and direction to Employee Relations project teams and for working with all areas of Council to provide pro-active advice and support, enabling the effective strategic and operational delivery of all Employee Relations activities.
The position has organisational responsibility for all key employee relations activities including:
- Employment Relations
- Industrial Relations management
- Industrial strategy
- Performance and Conduct management
- Workplace investigations
- Dispute resolution
- Industrial negotiation
You will have:
- Bachelor degree in a related field (e.g. Human Resources, Business) area or equivalent experience in a HR environment
- Ability to lead & drive the establishment, coordination and delivery of end to end strategic and operational employee relations processes in an efficient, thorough and customer focused manner
- Ability to monitor strategic and operational employee relations outcomes, and lead & drive recommendations and delivery of improvements in a timely manner
- Deep and broad understanding of HR principles, legal responsibilities, activities, requirements and ability to implement these in the workplace to deliver desired outcomes
Salary: commencing at $3937.40 gross per fortnight.
