Things You’ll Do:

An opportunity exists within Council's Development Assessment and Certification team for a building professional.

In this role you will work with a diverse team to carry out assessments, determinations, certifications and inspections for new and existing buildings and structures within the Shire to promote a safe and desirable built environment.

The position requires advice and guidance to be provided to residents, developers and Council staff regarding the application of statutory codes and Council policies.

• Package:  $76,000 to $103,300 gross p.a. + up to 10% gross p.a. (attraction allowance) + 9.5% super 
• Hours of work: 35 hrs pw, 19 day month
