Team Leader Online Communications Sebastopol Library
City of Ballarat Libraries currently has an exciting full-time opportunity for an enthusiastic, motivated and customer focused person to coordinate the Sebastopol Library. You will provide high quality, efficient and friendly library and learning services that meet the educational, recreational and information needs of the diverse Ballarat community.
This position manages the day to day operations at the Sebastopol library, provides professional and responsive customer services and coordinates the development and delivery of a wide range of online communication promotions and services.
35 hours per week, includes working on a weekend roster
Key Selection Criteria
-
Degree or Diploma in librarianship/information & knowledge management with eligibility for professional membership of the Australian Library and Information Association

Ability to lead and motivate team members and communicate in a collaborative and cooperative manner

Experience at middle management level contributing to the overall service provision of the library service

Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the delivery of high quality customer focused service

Demonstrated knowledge and experience of technologies relevant to a library environment including a broad general knowledge of emerging trends in new technologies

Demonstrated ability to provide input into the development and maintenance of the collection including print and e-resources
