About the role

An exciting opportunity is now available to join the Matt Dann team within the Community Services directorate. This role’s primary responsibility is to oversee the functions of the front of house at all hires, events and movie screenings and to be the primary point of contact in the absence of the Matt Dann Theatre & Cinema Supervisor.

  • Maintain a high level of customer service ensuring all customer points of contact are dealt with in a friendly, timely and efficient manner
  • Responsible for cash handling and reconciliation of event takings
  • Ensure Matt Dann Theatre & Cinema is clean pre and post event Support the promotion of Matt Dann Theatre & Cinema
  • Ensure Matt Dann Theatre staff operate in line with applicable laws and legislations regarding licensing and WHS.
  • Manage stock inventory and ordering

 

About you

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Previous cash handling experience
  • Developed interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Customer service skills
  • Applicants must be prepared to work irregular hours including nights and weekends
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) or ability to obtain one
  • First Aid Certification
  • National Police Clearance
  • Current Working With Children (WWC)
