Senior Rates Officer
The City has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Rates Officer to join the Financial Strategy unit. You will provide high level administration assistance to the Rates Coordinator, contribute to the delivery of excellent customer service and provide system support to team members. You will be proficient in Rates team functions and have the ability to develop and maintain Council’s rates database to ensure integrity.
You will have an understanding of the relevant technology, procedures and processes used within the Financial Strategy Unit and of the underlying principles involved as distinct from the practices. You will have an understanding of the role and function of the senior employees to which the role provides support and the ability to interpret regulations.
You will have a degree or diploma qualification and/or relevant experience and work skills in Financial / Rates Administration and demonstrated experience and proficiency in the use of valuation and rating and associated software.
