Information and Communications Technology Manager



Located in the Northern Rivers area of NSW, Rous County Council is a special-purpose local government organisation that delivers bulk water and provides flood mitigation and weed biosecurity services.

 

The position

To provide leadership and direction in the development and implementation of information and communication technology and record management systems with a focus on continuous improvement and exceptional customer service. To provide leadership, direction and accountability to direct reports in the achievement of Council’s Integrated Planning and Reporting (IP&R) goals and objectives in accordance with policies, procedures and management plans.

 

Qualifications and experience

This position requires Bachelor level qualifications in Information Technology (or equivalent)  or extensive demonstrated experience in a Senior ICT management role.

 

Demonstrated experience with Industrial Control Systems (SCADA) together with a strong understanding and proven delivery of Information Management protocols and procedures.

 

The successful candidate will have extensive working experience in delivering complex projects across a diverse environment.

Conditions of employment

Conditions of employment are in accordance with the Local Government State Award 2020. Salary range $96,314 - $112,663 per annum based on skills and experience plus statutory superannuation (9.5%) and generous working conditions including a 70 hour, nine-day fortnight. A satisfactory health assessment, including drug screening is a pre-requisite to an offer of employment.
