What we are looking for:

A payroll officer who can provide an efficient and accurate payroll service to Council and its employees, someone with the ability to provide information to employees on their conditions of employment including pay, leave and superannuation with the context of the relevant awards, EB agreements and policies.  You must have a high level of customer service and attention to detail.

What you should have to apply: 

  • Demonstrated experience in providing an accurate and efficient payroll service
  • Interpersonal and communication skills
  • Sound knowledge and experience of payroll functions and ability to apply and interpret industrial awards, agreements and legislation 
  • Ability to work within a team
