About the role

  • Based in Kingaroy & Nanango
  • Permanent - Part Time
  • $57K– $60K per annuam (pro rata)

Council is seeking a Part Time Officer to assist in providing high quality Library and Information Service that is responsive to the community needs. This role will require effective oral and written communication skills with the ability to develop and maintain positive and effective partnerships with internal/ external customers, colleagues and Management. The successful candidate will have previous relevant experience in library operations, well-developed customer service skills and a passion for the South Burnett Community

Skills and experience

**Please address the following key selection criteria items below, as part of your application**

  • Previous relevant experience in library operations and well-developed customer service skills.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills with the ability to develop and maintain positive and effective partnerships with internal/ external customers, colleagues and Management.
  • Sound level of keyboard and computer skills including knowledge of the MS Office suite and proven experience using Library Management Systems and other library related technology.
  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment under minimal supervision and meet deadlines.
