As Director Corporate and Strategy you will participate in the development and implementation of strategy and organisational oversight as part of a professional and supportive Executive Leadership Team.  


Reporting to the CEO, you will provide leadership and direction to the Corporate and Strategy Directorate comprising People, Culture and Safety, Financial Services, Governance and Organisational Strategy, Information Services and Strategic Projects.  Your key responsibilities will include advising the CEO and Council on strategic, professional, operational functions and compliance requirements, alignment of systems and processes to the City’s objectives and navigating change within a nuanced political environment.  As part of the Executive Leadership Team, you will be responsible for staff development, mentoring and building a culture based on pride, customer service excellence and cooperation.


This role will appeal to a contemporary senior executive with experience in achieving results through people.  The successful, appropriately qualified candidate will have experience in providing high quality corporate support services, workforce development and business improvement strategies, effective stakeholder management, financial planning and budget management acumen within complex commercial or public sector environments.  This role requires a strategically minded and outcomes-focussed individual with the ability to engage and develop the talents of the team to achieve key objectives.  


On offer is an attractive base salary of up to $190,000 per annum plus superannuation and other benefits including motor vehicle, professional development and health and wellbeing initiatives.
