We are currently seeking an experienced Labourer to join our Parks, Environment & Sustainability team, based at our Paget Depot.

The Labourer – Parks Building Services assists in carrying out general repairs and maintenance work on Council facilities efficiently and competently. Attend to scheduled maintenance activities and assist in the completion of work tasks generated by residents, Councillors and external clients.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Current General Construction Safety ‘White/Blue’ Card.
• Current QLD Manual ‘C’ Class Open Drivers Licence.
• Current QLD Light Rigid Truck ‘LR’ Class Drivers Licence or ability to obtain.
• Demonstrated ability to safely carry out tasks including manual handling.
• Broad industry builder’s labourer or high level of handy man experience within general building maintenance and/or construction.  

Salary & Benefits Package:  

• From $50,425 - $53,195 base annual salary + allowances as applicable
• Up to 18% weekly superannuation contribution (conditions apply)
• Choice of 4 or 5 weeks annual leave with 17.5% leave loading
