Mackay Regional Council has an opportunity for a suitably experience Civil Services Coordinator to join our Water Network team, based at Paget Depot.

The Role

This key position within the Water Network Program manages the operational teams providing maintenance on Mackay Regional Council water and sewer assets. The position is to ensure safety, legislative and training requirements are instilled in the team to make sure all tasks are completed competently and efficiently whilst leading and developing a positive team culture. 

Essential Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

• Relevant Trade Qualifications and/or demonstrated experience in the Water industry.
• White Card (Construction Industry).
• Demonstrated timely and cost-effective delivery of engineering projects in both civil asset installation and maintenance.
• Highly developed technical expertise including the ability to read and interpret plans and specifications, investigate, evaluate and resolve complex operational and maintenance problems.
• Demonstrated effective personnel management and leadership skills. The ability to direct, supervise and develop teams and individuals.

• Annual base salary range from $88,659 - $96,822
