Project Manager

Purpose of the Role The role is responsible for the implementation and administration of City Projects and Capital Works programs, including review of building contracts, plans and specifications, management and responses to contractual or commercial risks, and the engagement of consultants and contractors. Key Responsibilities To provide contract administration on Council contracts, conduct site inspections and evaluate and review and audit contractor compliance, provide project management advice in relation to Council’s Capital and Civil Works Program, review, evaluate and audit quality assurance, environmental and safety systems to ensure contractor compliance, investigate potential or actual public liability claims. You will also engage and consult with the stakeholders to identify their requirements, promote the positive and collaborative culture and values of the organisation, work in collaboration with and assist the team, manager and other key stakeholders to achieve business unit goals, work requests, demands and Council priorities.
